The Departure
This scene shows the anguish of Penelope as Ulysses' boat heads out to defend the honor of Helen of Troy. Little do they know that it will be Penelope will be waiting 20 years before he returns. Also shown in the scene is his son, Telemachus and his faithful dog, Argos.
You will notice that the title on this is "Le Depart d'Ulysse". Ulysses is the latin name for Odysseus and the two are rather interchangeable.
