The Ploughing by the Sea
Odysseus, pretending madness to keep from having to go to fight in the Trojan Wars, is shown ploughing the sand by the seashore. He has yoked a horse with a bull - truly not the sign of a sane man. This wild team endangers his young son, Telemachus. His wife, Penelope comes to rescue her son and also rescues Odysseus from his pretense at madness. Unfortunately, she was successful. Odysseus ended up fighting in the Trojan Wars and did not return for 20 years!
